Pros: moisturizes well
Cons: a bit pricey, creases, the odor is not for everybody's liking

Hi everyone!

Today I’d like to talk about the Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute 24 that is a real mixed bag for me.

General info:

  • Volume: 50 ml

  • Country: France

  • Price: about 20-25 Euro

Packaging

The cream comes in a fool proof plastic tub and a paper package that I have actually thrown away before writing this review.

The manufacturer claims that it’s a moisturizing cream for normal and sensitive skin. Also, you can find the ingredients and suggested use. By the way the use is very simple: apply the cream to clean skin. Easy-breezy.

Ingredients

Aqua/Water, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Coconut Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Arachidyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Capryloyl Glycine, Parfum/Fragrance, Safflower Oil/Palm Oil Aminopropanediol Esters, Tocopherol, Behenyl Alcohol, Citric Acid, Xylitol, Sodium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Arachidyl Glucoside, Allantoin, Butylene Glycol, Ci 77891/Titanium Dioxide, Acrylates/ C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Tetrasodium Edta, Dehydroacetic Acid, Salicornia Herbacea Extract, Sclerotium Gum, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Flower Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Lupinus Albus Seed Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Pisum Sativum (Pea) Extract, Disodium Edta, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Fruit Extract, Robinia Pseudacacia Flower Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Linalool, Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Fruit Extract, Robinia Pseudacacia Flower Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Linalool.

The maker promises just to moisturize and nourish the skin without any facelift, even complexion effect or anything.

So, it’s an ordinary pharmacy cream for everyday. However, the price is too hefty, in my opinion.

In the beginning the cream was covered in a foil.

Texture and smell

The Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute 24 is beige and has a pretty thick texture.

It’s not greasy and soaks in quickly without leaving any oily sheen or looking mask-like. The cream moisturizes and nourishes alright and I use it primarily at nights before going to sleep. In my opinion, it’s not good for daily use at all, because it creases Sad

Moreover, the cream has a disturbing and pretty long-lasting herbal smell.

Those who used some Korean high-end creams know this ‘freshly cut grass’ smell that is quite obtrusive. Mildly speaking, it’s not up my alley. However, it’s kind of a personal preference thing.

It didn’t cause any allergies, breakouts or clogging with me.

Final verdict

I will not repurchase the Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute 24. Those who have sensitive skin and are prone to allergies will probably like it more. As far as I’m concerned, it didn’t soothe my skin but only moisturized it a little. So, hands off given the hefty price.
