Hello there!

Oh, this Origins!

Some time ago it was impossible to find this brand in my town but luckily now I can visit a store and touch, sniff and apply any product that I want there. From the beginning I was so interested in the brand that I literally wanted to buy each item. Reading through a pile of positive reviews of this cream, I also decided that I need it for myself.

Price - $32.00

Late night? Long flight? Look tired all the time? This morning-after eye cream instantly reduces dark circles, unsightly bags, and puffiness. It's formulated with coffee beans, panax ginseng, magnolia extract, and natural optic brighteners to rapidly wake up, refresh, and restore radiance to tired eyes.

According to the product’s description, it’s a morning eye cream. When I opened the jar, I could see why.

The jar has a screw on top. Size - 0.5 oz (15 ml).

Shelf life - 6 months after opening.

In general, I love eye creams, because my main problem is that in winter my under eye skin is dehydrated, sensitive and sometimes even irritated.

I opt for more lightweight textures for morning use and thicker creams for a night application. That’s why I thought that this cream wouldn’t suit me.

It smells weird: either of citrus or flowers. It just smells like an unpleasant perfume agent with a hint of alcohol to it. I can sniff alcohol anywhere since I don’t drink it and hate it.

The consistency is light, of pink color. And there’s an endless amount of shimmer to the formula! I don’t know what they were thinking about but this is so extra. This product can easily swap your highlighter.

As for the application, it’s really light, I need the tiniest bit of the formula. If you decide to apply the second layer, then be sure that it won’t dry over the first one and stay like a thick mask. It may also start creasing, by the by.

As for the results, well my skin doesn’t look bad with this cream. It seems smooth, even and puffiness-free.

But this is all only thanks to the shimmer particles which blur my skin so much, reflecting the light that one can easily become blind afterwards. To top it off, the edges of the product will be detectable on your skin. By the artificial lights or by the bright sunlight, your eye circles will be visible from far away.

It’s impossible to leave my house like that, without concealing all that mess under my eyes. It can be used only with makeup. However, it doesn’t actually fit the bill of a makeup priming product as it doesn’t hydrate my skin and all those smallest fine lines are still visible over it.

If you apply too much, then you’ll definitely face creasing of the formula and all those nasty clumps of unsoaked product. By the evening my under eye skin feels like a cracker and I immediately want to apply some butter over it, so as to make that dryness feeling go away.

My skin looks tired, tightened and repelling with this cream.

Puffy eyes and dark circles stay there, just become invisible because of the shimmer. And once you wash the cream off, you’ll see all that “beauty” again as it was before.

Well, the product does nothing and doesn't live up to its promises. Maybe the only thing that it does is a slight blurring effect on my skin.

I honestly tried to tame this cream. I have a lot of it still left and I don’t know where to apply it, because it’s a torture to apply it over my under eye area. I’m thankful that it didn’t provoke any allergy or irritation on my skin.

I don’t recommend this product for anybody. For the money it costs, you can easily find a better cream which will perform better.
