Earlier, I used to take the brand only as a great makeup manufacturer, but after this Instant Moisturizer, I also started to pay my attention to the skin care line from them.

4. The texture is lightweight and airy. The smell is cosmetic and barely there. I don’t feel it present on my skin.

5. The product is fine for all skin types and it’s non comedogenic. You can even use it if you have sensitive skin types.
My impressions of use and the results
About me: I’m 30, combo skin type, which is more dry, enlarged pores, fine lines and signs of pigmentation.

There isn’t much info about the product online and I visited the official Sephora website to find everything out. And this is what advice they give on how to use the product.
How to use:
-Apply all over the face and neck in the morning.
-For even more beautiful skin, add four or five drops of Sephora Collection Luminizing Booster (sold separately) to the Instant Moisture+ Cream.
-If needed, finish your skincare routine with Sephora Collection Liquid Moisturizing Skin Concentrate (sold separately).
But, when I was at the store, they didn’t tell me anything about those additional products.

If we were to believe the name of this moisturizer, then we’d take it that the hyaluronic booster is already in the product’s formula. But I haven’t found anything about the acid here, only its sodium, which is stated as «sodium hyaluronate» in the ingredients.
Well, that’s maybe all right, but the product infused with the hyaluronic acid must be more effective, rather than the product only with its sodium.
In a word, all the moisturizing complex is only about the sodium of hyaluronic acid, but not about the acid itself. But this is what the product promises (I cite it from the official website):
This bestselling formula hydrates and nourishes skin for up to 24 hours. It recharges skin with hyaluronic acid for intense hydration with a weightless feel. It also supports skin’s natural hyaluronic acid. Perfect for dry and sensitive skin, it helps diminish the look of the first signs of aging while smoothing and refining skin's appearance. Application- The texture of the moisturizer is really lightweight and weightless. The formula is easy to apply well and evenly. The sinking in is quick and there’s so sheen of shine left behind. This cream works fantastic as a makeup primer. I can’t say that the texture looks like a silicone mask, no. On the contrary, it feels like the formula melts down on my face and I don’t even feel it on my skin.
What results to expect
I can see that my skin is hydrated after the use of this cream, though it isn’t the most intense moisture that I’ve ever had. I was delighted with the way the product worked, until I started to find that proverbial hyaluronic complex in the ingredients. I liked the way the cream evened out all the flaky skin bits that I had and in general my skin looked fresh and it was soft to the touch. By the way, they also tell us about the light-reflecting pigments which are to even out and illuminate the complexion. Well, I’d better believe their words, even though I haven’t detected any light reflecting pigments there, even when I looked really close to the formula.
I used to pair this product with a lightweight fluid Sesderma, which caused tightening for my skin. And in that case I used to apply the product by Sephora and all the discomforting feelings were gone.
My foundation applies beautifully over it and I appreciate that this moisturizer doesn’t actually accentuate my flakey skin. The product doesn’t clog pores and will be effective for combo skin types.
When use?
When it’s warm. Spring-summer seasons. The product won’t work good for winter.
Spending- It’s average. It was enough for me to use this tube up within 2 months.
Pros that I have highlighted:
good moisture and tightening feelings diminishing;
no allergic reactions like clogged pores or zits;
my skin is soft and fresh;
light and weightless texture. It doesn’t leave any oily sheen;
perfect as a makeup primer.
Cons:
not so much info on the net or in the stores where they retail the product
I haven’t found the promised hyaluronic acid in the ingredients
the suggested usage is vague for me and even the sales girls weren’t very helpful.
Yet still, I want to recommend you this Sephora Creme Legere Activatrice D'hydratation Instant Moisturizer for purchasing! I enjoyed using it, even though my skin is whimsical. I can’t say anything about the accumulative effect, but my skin felt nice when I was using this moisturizer. I deem it’s an excellent option for combo skin types.
