Long-lasting foundation, water-proof mascara and eyeshadow base - I trust these cosmetic products, regardless of whether is raining or the makeup is melting under the sun. Of course, it’s no fun to remove water-proof products with micellar water, so Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover comes in handy.
Price: $7.50 for 1.69 oz/50ml.
The product is available in different sizes.

Like all bi-phased makeup removers, this one has two separate layers. I like the bright turquoise color of one of them.
They only had to add a stabilizer in order to prevent the makeup remover from delaminating, but it either will make it not suitable for sensitive skin or the bi-phased liquid simply looks more beautiful.
The bottle is made of simple plastic, nothing fancy, decorated with drops that match the color of the makeup remover.
The product is almost unscented, with a hint of something chemical. The ingredients aren’t natural, but I don’t think it makes the product ‘the world’s evil’.
I can’t say that the product is super economical.
It does its job and dissolves makeup, including:
- Long-lasting matte lipstick
- Water-proof mascara
- Waterproof eyeshadow base plus pigments
- Waterproof eyebrow gel
Sometimes I even use it to remove BB creams, if there’s nothing else at hand.
Before use, the bottle must be shaken, in order to mix the layers.
Once my makeup is removed, I wash the rest off my skin. Sephora Waterproof Makeup Remover has caused no negative side effects, but as I’ve mentioned above, I wash it off, as well with micellar water.
I wear contacts and I have no problem while removing makeup with this products. Of course, I try to prevent the product from getting right into my eyes.
The makeup remover leaves no oily film, or even if it does, I don’t feel it on my skin.
In general, it does its job well, but I’m not especially impressed. It’s just an average bi-phased makeup remover, good for everyday use.
If you don’t know which makeup remover you should buy, take this one - it’s a high quality and affordable option.
