I first tried the Yes To natural skincare products when I purchased the tomato shampoo of the brand.
After that we became real ‘close friends’, although we sometimes had some disagreements (for example, I had allergies to the tomato facial cream).
This time the brand didn’t let me down.
Today I’d like to talk about the cucumber micellar water.
If a micellar water is not part of your daily skincare routine, I strongly recommend you reconsider your priorities and correct this vexing mistake in your life.
As far as I’m concerned, I’ve been using micellar water every day for a couple of years now, but I’ve never experimented with the brand. I always used L'oreal or Garnier before I learnt that Yes To had it either.
The brand has some options with various ingredients for different skin types, but I chose the soothing cucumber micellar water. Now I’m planning on trying some other versions in the future.
As far as I know the range consists of 5 different products: calming cucumber, moisturizing coconut, tomato against skin blemishes, cotton for extremely sensitive and prone to allergies skin and finally the detoxifying charcoal.
I have combination skin with oily sheen and occasional breakouts. The cucumber cleansing water matched my skin perfectly, even though it is not meant for oily/combination skin.
What is the difference between the Yes To Cucumbers and a traditional micellar water?
1.No rinsing: After cleaning my face with the Garnier micellar water, I had an unpleasant and sticky layer. It was a combination of water and makeup residue that I wanted to wash away ASAP. I don’t want to do it when I use cucumber micellar water. It absorbs very quickly and leaves a refreshing sensation after use. It feels like a toner.
2. Convenient pump dispenser: When I usually pour any micellar water to the cotton pad, I spill it quite often. However, I have probably all thumbs, so… But nothing of the kind happens with the Yes To Cucumbers. You don’t even have to lift the bottle to pick up the product. Just press the pump two times and you get the required amount of the cleanser. Moreover, the cucumber water removes any makeup fuss-free.

3. Smell: I love this fresh cucumber scent and there is nothing I can do about it! The scent is very refreshing and spring-and-summer-like. More than that, I can feel aloe that is also present in the ingredients.
4. Natural ingredients
Look at the list:
Water (Aqua), Pentylene Glycol, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate/Sebacate, Polyglyceryl-4 Capylate/Caprate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Hexylene Glycol, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Niacinamide, Disodium EDTA, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance (Parfum).
I’d like to pay your attention to Niacinamide and Chlorhexidine. These are meant for eliminating irritations and soothing your skin. More than that, they shrink pores and mattify skin. Sounds really good for a micellar water, right?
To top it off, the product doesn’t contain any parabens, silicones or SLS.
5. Adorable design: I won’t be talking much about it. The pretty green bottle speaks for itself.
I write about it at the end of the line, because the outer appearance is not the thing that should influence your choice.
Nevertheless, it’s exactly the case when the pretty design corresponds to the contents
ATTENTION: The manufacturer recommend avoiding contact with the eyes. My waterline may burn a little bit sometimes, when I rub it with a cotton pad, but I haven’t noticed any allergies, even though I’m an allergy-prone person.
If you are not allergy-prone, you’ll have no issues at all.
All in all, it’s the best micellar water for me. I recommend you give it a try too
