Hello girls and boys!

A strange brand for me is Kiehl’s. I’ve tried a lot of products. There were some superb ones, some of them were awful, I don’t even want to write about them though I need to. Buying a cleansing product is some kind of must have, no matter what brand it is or what consistency it has, it just have to be on your bathroom shelf. I know the Kiehl's brand but I can’t say that I rave about it.

Once I picked up this product from the shop shelf as there was a discount and I needed a cleansing product for my face.

I was surprised at how tough the consistency was, it was thick and there was no foam. I can say that I love thick foam on my face as it seems to me that the more foam on the face the cleaner it will be. It’s not actually true. If you clean your face with your fingers there will be no sliding foam feeling, which is not for me, so I decided to use a sponge. On the wet sponge we can see a hint of foam appearing and it starts working really well. It washes my foundation, blush and everything away. I checked with a toner and micellar water. Since November 2016 I haven’t had any clogged pores, which means that my skin is 100% clean. By the way I think that for a better result you can use a bubble maker.

It’s very important for me that there’s no need to use moisturizing cream or something similar after the product, the cleanser removes makeup and doesn’t let my skin get dried. For my combined skin type it suits perfectly, similarly though for all others.

The scent reminds me of a drugstore, I mean all their jars, pills and everything in one. I can’t say that it's very pleasant, but it’s not unpleasant either. The gel is very economical, I mean since the middle of November 2016 (and it’s already 2017) I haven’t even used half of it, as I only need a small drop. This is a definite advantage.

The tube is very ergonomic, it’s soft and plastic, my hands don’t get tired of pushing the product out and I think that the packaging is great for using the product till the last drop.

Description:

A sugar-derived glycoside foaming agent thoroughly cleanses the skin.

Apricot kernel oil moisturises and softens the skin whilst maintaining clarity.

Apricot Kernel Oil is extracted from apricot kernels and has a very high Vitamin E content (aiding fast absorption) and is a trygliceride composed of 75% oleic acid and 20% linoleic acid, and unsaturated fatty acids esterified with glycerin - similar to avocado oil and sesame oil. Found to be highly compatible with the skin. Apricot Kernel Oil moisturizes and softens skin while helping retain clarity and suppleness.

Vitamin E is known for its antioxidant and moisturising properties.

Avocado Oil

Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, and potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.

Squalane

A signature Kiehl’s ingredient, Squalane is a botanical lipid that is similar in molecular structure to natural skin lipids. It has an exceptional affinity to skin, and because it’s easily absorbed, Squalane helps restore skin’s natural moisture balance to keep it extra soft and supple.

A mild, pH balanced cleanser to thoroughly cleanse skin and remove makeup, without over-drying or stripping skin of its natural oils. The gentle formula dissolves any excess oil and dirt whilst maintaining the skin's natural balance.

Beauty verdict: all of the advantages and disadvantages gave me a positive overview on the product. I use it with pleasure and I don't use any other cleansing products at all. By the way I want to explain why I took one star off. The thing is that I can’t use it around my eye area, as it’s not advisable says the label.

I know that sometimes Kiehl’s give out free samples, I find it a great opportunity to try out the products before buying! I liked the cleanser, I’ll buy another tube after finishing this one and I won’t be surprised if this will happen in a year, as the product is really economical!

Love and be loved!
