Pros: beautiful box and package, luring, nice looking bottle
Cons: it fades too quickly, price tag, very pricey

Before Christmas the perfumers all over the world try to come up with some new fragrances to make sure that their new products will be eventually sold for gifts and presents.

And of course the Tiffany&Co brand hasn’t become an exception. This is their first perfume from the collection and it comes in two bottle sizes - 50ml and 100ml.

The light blue box is very alluring and really difficult to resist. In addition the perfume promises to have citrus notes to it. All in all, I couldn’t resist the temptation and bought the bottle in a duty free shop in one of the airports.

This is what they state about this perfume:

A sparkling new signature fragrance for women introduced to you from The House of Tiffany, with noble iris at its heart. Fragrance story: Tiffany & Co. Eau de Parfum is as exhilarating and inspiring as love itself. The eau de parfum is bold, provocative and completely unexpected, an iconic identity stripped to its core. The new artisanal fragrance unleashes the essence of the brand in all its purity, just bare skin, a scent, a touch of jewelry and one iconic color. A sparkling floral-musk scent designed around a precious blue iris, unexpected and timeless.

They also say that the product has lemon notes to it. Such notes are super exciting for me. The price in the duty free shop was still very high. But I know that in regular stores, the perfume costs even $25 more.

For me, this perfume smells like a fresh New York wind (which travels between skyscrapers). I also adore the simple and plain design of the product which really rings the bell of the Tiffany jewelry. If you don’t have enough money for rings and keys, then you can always treat yourself with a perfume.

I’d say that this aroma is nice for the summertime as well as wintertime. It won’t ever make you feel suffocated in the sticky heat.

To the downsides I want to list the fading smell. I wish it stayed on for at least 4 hours. But even within an hour the aroma is almost totally gone. There’s only a slight hint of a sillage left.

However, there are some people who will take this staying power as an advantage.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether to buy this perfume or not, because the product is far from being affordable.

I doubt that I’ll splurge on even the 50 ml bottle ever again. But still, I have this one and I’m more than sure to enjoy it to the fullest.
