I have a weakness for perfumes. There are fragrances I use up and never repurchase, and there are fragrances I want to wear again and again, regardless of weather, season etc.
The Bright Crystal from Versace belongs to the second group. This fragrance has been living in my house for 10 years now. When I run out of it, I am immediately presented with a fresh bottle.

Inspired by a mixture of Donatella Versace's favorite floral fragrances, Bright Crystal is a fresh, sensual blend of refreshing chilled yuzu and pomegranate mingled with soothing blossoms of peony, magnolia, and lotus flower, warmed with notes of musk and amber.
The design lives up to the fragrance, it’s so delicate with white and pink, and silver lettering. The bottle is completely transparent, like a gem with its edges. Simple yet exquisite.
The crystal-like cap is a zest. It’s clear and sun rays reflect through it beautifully. In the middle there is the iconic Logo of Versace, the Gorgon’s head:
The fragrance itself is sensual and delicate, it makes me want to wear a dress and braid my hair, smile and glow with smile.
The fragrance isn’t overpowering and can be worn everywhere. It’s all about its fruity flowery notes.
Notes:Iced Accord, Yuzu, Pomegranate, Peony, Magnolia, Lotus Flower, Acajou, Vegetal Amber, Musk.
It’s a fascinating mix of tart peony, fresh lotus flower and sour yuzu. The smell is refreshing and sweet, with a slight bitterness. When wearing it, I feel as though I’m walking through a blossoming garden, full of fruits and flowers.
Still, the fragrance has a couple of downsides.
1) First of all, it isn’t long lasting. It lingers for only a couple of hours and then I have to reapply it.
2) Too popular. It’s recognizable and too many wear it.
Bright Crystal is so special and dear to me, it’s associated with many important moments of my life, maybe that’s why my love to this crystal bottle is infinite. When I apply it to my wrists, I feel warm and peaceful. I feel positive feminine energy inside of me.
