I saw this product used by a beauty blogger and decided to buy it for myself. They all promise us that this is a miracle for those with oily skin and they can really become an alternative to blotting papers.
The price of the two blotters with the mirrored compact and a sachet of liquid cleanser was about $20.
The blotter was packed in this package with small shiny shimmer on it. On the other side they put a photo and description in English, as the country of origin is the USA
Opening the box you’ll see the following content:
On the left it’s the sachet with liquid cleanser (though I usually clean the blotters with facial cleansers infused with salicylic acid)
The mirror was protected with a film. It’s handy and isn’t distorting. The bright pink sponge really looks like a BeautyBlender, but only flatter one. In the set they include 2 sponges.
They were separated with a plastic lid which says “don’t toss me” to protect the sponge from pollution.
And now a few words about the product itself. They advise you wash the sponges everyday, as they absorb unwanted oil and impurities. I appreciate the fact that these sponges are very flexible and give rather natural result on the skin blotting it even in difficult to reach areas.
Of course the sachet is small and it won’t be enough to use while travelling, for example.
You won’t get 100% mattifying effect from this product. But I personally don’t need it indeed. I prefer natural finish and sheen of my skin without greasiness. If you adore a totally matte face then I’m afraid you won’t like these sponges. Also, you can use them to apply your foundation, powder, concealer and to use them for blending.
