You know, I’m obsessed with cosmetics and everything that’s connected with it. And of course I couldn’t pass by the hyped and so popular GLOV Hydro Demaquillage Quick Treat.
There are three sizes of the product avaliable:
small mini-glow to put on one finger
one-the-go version to put on the top of your fingers
big one rectangular glove
To give this product a go I decided to opt for the smallest and the most affordably priced size. And now I can assure you that I’ll repurchase and I’ll buy the biggest “towel” for me in the future.
The GLOV towel was packed in a small plastic package and then in a box. Inside there’s a piece of paper with information, but we don’t need it, as we’ll find out how it works ourselves.
The glove is made of polymeric amide and polyether and it is tactile, it reminds me of a cloth for dusting. It’s very soft and nice to the touch. It isn’t white in color by the way. I’d say it’s ivory.
The use is the simplest simple. Just put the glove on your finger and soak with water. Squeeze out the excess water and remove your make-up. Well, all their innovative technique is housed here. You need just water to remove any make-up. And whether you believe me or not, it works!
The glove removes my daily and nude make-up with one swipe only. But evening make-up requires some more time and effort.
It’s unbelievable that the GLOV towel removes even my water-resistant products! I wouldn’t say that it does the job brilliantly, there is always some residue of make-up left but it’s normal. I have residue even after the two phase makeup remover.
Let’s try to remove a rather bright and intense make-up with a long-lasting wear-proof eyeliner on.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade which is waterproof and long-lasting.
The glove needs hand washing after each use to stay fresh. I always wash it with a soap I have in my bathroom. The washing is also easy by the way. Only sometimes when I remove very bright and long-lasting products I have to wash the glove twice. I never dry it on the radiator as I’m afraid that the product will lose its softness then. I just hang it on a towel hanger in my bathroom.
In a nutshell, I’m very happy with the GLOV Hydro Demaquillage Quick Treat! It’s a quick and easy way to remove my make-up and make my skin clean without irritation. My eyes are very reactive to make-up removers. I even have reactions from time to time.
I understand that this glove will not go for everyday use, especially for those who don’t want to wash the product each time after use. It’s a great product to use from time to time. When I come home very late but still need to wash off my make-up, I always use this glove. Or while travelling, it'll be a great ally.
I’ll buy the biggest towel to use at home and this one I’ll leave for my gym bag and for travelling to save space in a suitcase.
And I think the product is an absolute value for the money. It’s so unusual, yet effective and convenient. Do you agree?
