We bought this soft pillow for our baby.
Why did we opt for this very pillow?
First of all because of its the size - 50х70 cm is exactly what we needed for a baby bed.
Secondly, this pillow is rather soft and low to some extent. You know, usually shops retail 50х70 cm pillows which are really high for a baby.
And of course, the price was affordable. $4.99.
The pillow was packed rolled in a vacuum packaging. When we opened the packaging, there wasn’t any nasty smell from it or anything. The pillow quickly came to its normal shape.
The material the pillow is made of is very pleasant by touch and it isn’t gliding.
Fabric: 65% polyester, 35 % cotton.
Even though the pillow isn’t 100% made of cotton, my baby’s head still remains dry and never sweats on it.
The pillow is neatly done.
The size of the pillow shows a label, indicating that the product is soft.
The filling material is 100% polyester.
But for a baby, this material is way better than the natural one, since it won’t provoke allergies.
The pillow doesn’t have a thick pack and it’s about 10 cm in height.
The filling is even inside, though over time it starts clumping, so make sure to shake the pillow from time to time.
Care instructions for the HAMPDAN pillow:
Machine wash very hot, normal cycle.
Do not bleach.
Tumble dry, medium, normal cycle.
Do not iron.
Do not dry clean.
As you can see, the pillow can be washed in a machine. It’s such an advantage, because machine wash is a great remedy against dust mites. But, don’t forget to even out the filling inside right after washing so as not to let it stay clumped.

I liked this HAMPDAN pillow, but only for my baby! It isn’t high and my baby feels comfortable sleeping on it. As for me, that’s a toss. I like higher pillows. I’d also like to recommend you replace this pillow rather frequently, especially if you use it for a baby. The thing is that over time the filling material clumps together and it feels as though you’re sleeping on stones. Hence the pillow becomes uber inconvenient for sleeping. And not every child can say it. And of course the more you wash this pillow, the quicker it’ll wear out.
In general, I can recommend this HAMPDAN softer pillow for purchasing for the children who love low pillows.
But still, the quality of the filling material leaves much to be desired!
