I came across the Cuisinart CSBP-100 3-in-1 Stuffed Burger Press on Amazon accidentally. My hubby loves burgers cooked in due form, so I decided to order it.
Moreover, it retailed for only about $10 a year and a half ago. Such a steal!
The set consists of the mold for big burgers with the diameter of 3,9 inches and with the height of nearly one inch. Then the lid cap for pressing the meat and also a mold with a smaller diameter for making a well for filling if you want a stuffed burger.
Also, there is a mold for small patties with the diameter of 2,5 inches.
They all are easy to store in one another.
I love this tool not only for the opportunity to form perfectly-shaped patties easily, but mostly due to the fact that you can make such delicious patties with filling.
I had a similar tool before, but it was a single unit, from which it was hard to take the patty out after compressing the meat. This press has separate bottoms, so it’s really nice to work with.
The only thing is to spray the lid cap with water before making the indentation for the center condiments, so that it doesn’t stick to the meat.
Well, you definitely can make patties the old fashioned way, but it’s much easier to do it with this iterm. I use the small mold for forming the patties for my children (2 y.o. and 4 y.o). By the way, they love doing it themselves.
