The Bare Minerals powders have always been a dream of mine. For a long time I was longing for one of their powders because it was so hyped everywhere. Finally, I was lucky enough to give a try to a set of Bare Minerals powders, and now I’m going to share my thoughts on one of them with you.
Today I’ll review the classy powder by the brand, which is called the Original.
The good:
Nice packaging. It’s a plastic case with a black matte top. It has the name of the brand and the collection on it. During the time of use all the lettering is still here and hasn’t vanished.
The stopper is great here. The design of the case is thought out, that’s why it has an additional lid, which can be twisted up, locking the powder inside. This is so convenient, especially when it comes to the spending of the product. I’ll never use more that I need.
The powder is nicely pigmented. It isn’t just a powder, after all. It’s a foundation powder, which can replace your foundation.
It doesn’t mattify my skin to the fullest, but leaves a beautiful and natural glow on my skin.
A little bit goes a super long way.
The powder is easy to apply and blend out. It doesn’t leave streaks or splotches.
The product is easy to wash off with a regular makeup remover.

The bad:
The powder doesn’t stay on long over my oily skin. It starts shining with oil within an hour after the application. I was pretty surprised when I found that out, after all it’s a foundation powder, not a foundation, you see.
The formula accentuates pores and fine lines, that’s why it isn’t for you if you have enlarged pores.

Final thoughts: This powder is far from being the best for the price. I’d even say that the product is a failure. Maybe you’ll like it if your skin is normal. But if you have combination or shine-prone skin, then I deem it’s better to toss it for you. There are many more powders, which are much better quality-wise.
That’s why I assess it only with 3 stars.
