The Luminous Blush line has been inspired by the Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighters. This is the blush that gives a beautiful natural glow. There are 6 colors in the line. I bought the color Dahlia, which is wine colored.
The box my blush arrived in looked shabby - that’s because I bought the blush with a 75% discount! The difference is huge, and the ugly box will land in the trash can right after this review.
Its design is graphite and discreet, typical Becca style.
The case is like a hockey-puck or a flying saucer. It’s pretty heavy with a tight lid. The matte-metallic case feels nice.
All in all, a standard blush box.
Size: 6 gram, which is a lot if you keep in mind that the pigmentation is gorgeous. It’s something! Even too high for blush. Even eyeshadows don’t always have such a nice color payoff.
So it’s easy to apply too much, which I did the first time I used this. But then I mastered this technique and now I can work with the blush and vary the intensity of it on my face.
Here is a sheer layer. It could have been even more delicate but I like to blush myself.
Here is another, more intense version:
The finish is glowing, just as I like.
The longevity is amazing.
No fragrance at all.
I’ve dreamed about such a color for the fall and winter because it looks flawless on my fair skin, and I was lucky to stumble across this blush being sold with a huge discount.
