Hello everybody!
I'm so glad I discovered the "Roller Lash" mascara by Benefit, which was in the box of Trendy NYC. This is the kind of makeup product one uses almost everyday (the leaders are foundations, concealers and lip products)
Product promises:
It’s a roller for lashes! The eye-opening Hook ‘n’ Roll™ brush grabs, separates, lifts and curls…while the instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours. Contains provitamin B5 and serin, ingredients known for their lash-conditioning benefits. Available in two stunning shades, original ink black or brown.
Satin finish
Water-resistant & easy to remove

My lashes are naturally dark and quite visible. I love lengthening mascaras and natural make-up. I always want to get that curl, but it doesn't usually happen - and I don’t want to use an eyelashes curler. I want to say that I liked the "Roller Lash" immediately, as it has a lot of advantages, but some disadvantages as well, and I’ll describe them below.
The design of the tube is very unusual. The first time I picked it up, I didn’t actually realize I was holding a mascara tube. For me, it looks cute and unique: black case with a rubberized top that reminds me of a wicker basket.
The stopper isn’t bad, but sometimes on the tip there is some excess amount of mascara. The silicone brush has a slight curl, on the one side there are short bristles, and long on the other. It seems to be very convenient to use.
The mascara is neither liquid nor thick and has a pleasant texture, though it seems to be a bit dry. The color is black, with no depth or intensity.
If applied in one layer, my eyelashes become more defined, but since my natural lashes are also black, I don’t see any great difference.
So, this is how my eyelashes look after the product is applied. The mascara helps curl and lengthen your eyelashes. The brush separates them well. You won’t get the “dramatic effect” with this product. I also want to say that if applied in several layers, it’ll make your lashes stick together. But not very much, though, the situation can be saved with the special lash brush.
The lashes look natural, but defined. The lovers of defined “dramatic lashes” won’t like it.
I couldn’t do much with it. Once it's dry, the eyelashes look clumpy and sloppy, and applying multiple coats only makes it worse.. Maybe, that’s because I’ve become the "lucky" owner of the old mascara, I don’t know.
This mascara isn't waterproof at all. It can leave marks on my lower eyelids by the end of the day, as well as by the contact with snow or when I'm sweating.. It does not flow, but leaves traces.
It can be removed easily by any makeup remover.
It does not fall out during the day. The Roller Lash mascara doesn't irritate my eyes and it's very comfortable to wear.
I recommend the Benefit mascara. I may buy it again, but maybe continue looking for something like it. It’s a good product for those who want to look natural and add something great into their everyday look. This product will be great for those who love neat eyelashes.
