Actually, after using some products by Benefit I was quite upset by some of them, so I didn’t actually expect much from that product, but it surprised me!
What it is:
A mascara inspired by hair rollers, this super-curling and lifting mascara gives a sexy, wide-eyed look. Its patent-pending Hook ‘n’ Roll™ brush features tiny custom-designed hooks to catch, lift, and curl even short and straight lashes.
What it does:
Roller Lash not only lifts and super-curls, but this instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours, is easy to remove, and contains provitamin B5 and serine, known for their lash-conditioning benefits.
Research results:
In a consumer panel survey of 31 women for 4 weeks:
- 97% said it visibly lifts lashes
- 87% said it gives long-lasting curl
- 94% said eyes look more wide open
Beauty Tip:
For super curl and length, apply Roller Lash first to curl and lift your lashes. Then layer They’re Real! lengthening mascara on top.
I want to compare it with its “sister” by the same brand, They’re real!
Separates. Yes! Of course, it’s not ideal separation, but, show me a real mascara that separates perfectly. I think, it’s something like a miracle. In comparison with THEY'RE REAL!, you can see that The Roller does its job better!
Adds volume (for me, that’s the most difficult) I can’t say, that my eyelashes volume increased dramatically, I didn’t notice it. But again, comparing with THEY'RE REAL!, Roller is, again, better. So, yes, it does add volume.
Gives curl. YES! I liked the curl even more than from THEY'RE REAL! (considering the fact that I had to work hard with an applicator to get the curl), but with Roller Lash, everything’s very simple and easy.
It stays on for 12 hours. YES! I like that the product doesn’t ruin my makeup at all - it doesn’t smudge, doesn’t fall out, keeps the curl up, and is quite wearproof (in that respect, it’s the same as THEY'RE REAL!
Removes easily! YES! The product really made my life better, it’s true! It’s enough to wipe it with a micellar water and the mascara’s gone. The most important is that the product doesn’t make you to look like a panda with huge dark circles around eyes. (I had that problem with THEY'RE REAL!)
So, by all standards the ROLLER LASH wins, which is by the way, cheaper than THEY'RE REAL!
My favorite mascara! I use it with a great pleasure, but still, for me it’s quite pricey.
