Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in the shade Sand Dollar - review
Recently, I’m more and more into creamy eyeshadows because they are a good option for quick and easy eye makeup. In my collection, there aren’t many creamy eyeshadows but I love all of them: mainly from Stilla and NYX. By the way, I bought the NYX cream eyeshadow in the color #5 for the second time.
Creamy eyeshadows are great to wear as an accent as well as all over my eyelids.

A search of a good gray-brows shade led me to the Bobbi Brown makeup. I bought her shade Sand Dollar with a good discount.

Bobbi's bestselling and award-winning shadow is formulated with new polymer technology and provides superior adhesion to eyelids, so color stays true. It glides on comfortably—leaving a soft, velvety finish for up to 12 hours of water-, sweat-, humidity-, and transfer-resistant wear—and dries to a flexible, matte veil of color that won't crease, flake, or fade.

The product was initially packed with the branded cardboard box that was sealed with a sticker. The jar inside is rather heavy with a screw-on plastic top.

The design is simple. The lettering doesn’t fade away over time.

The texture is pleasant to the touch. It’s creamy and bouncy. It’s very easy to pick up with a brush and my finger too. The blending is excellent and the color can be packed without any patches or stripes.

I opted for a natural beige shade with a gray undertone. And it was such a hit:

The maker prompts for using the fair shades as highlighters. I think that the Sand Dollar shade will be perfect for tanned skin people as a highlighter.

The shade is complicated and really pearlescent. It looks super on my eyes, even when I wear it solo.

Swipe across lids and blend with fingertips for effortless application on the go. To remove, use our Instant Long-Wear Makeup Remover—this waterproof formula won't come off with water and soap alone.

Most of the time I apply this Bobbi Brown cream eyeshadow with the help of a synthetic brush. Currently, the Zoeva 223 Cream Shades is my all time go-to brush.

Surely, you can apply it with your fingertips but I don’t find this option hygienic.

Result - super nude. ♥

The product feels comfortable throughout the wear: it doesn’t crease or dry out my skin. Besides, I want to note the staying power, which is throughout the whole day.

 Overall:
- Sand Dollar is the basic shade of a creamy eyeshadow by Bobbi Brows. I can wear it solo, as well as a makeup primer or as an accent all over eyes.
- This shade can also play the role of the highlighter.
- It doesn’t require any mumbo-jumbo. A couple of strokes with a brush or fingertips and the product is there. So, I can highly recommend it to makeup newbies.
- Comfort feelings throughout the wear
- It stays put till the moment I take my makeup off. No color fading during the wear
- Excellent blending
- The price for the full size is $30. If you’re not ready to splurge on this so much, I’m sure that it’s still possible to find a cheaper dupe, which won’t be worse quality-wise.
For me, this product is worth 5 stars. I’ve been using it for more than a year and the texture is still the same - not drier or worse in consistency.
Thanks a lot for your attention!
