Meet Burberry Kisses #37 Pink Peony Lipstick!
My acquaintance with the brand has started not so long ago, though still, I can conclude that it’s successful! And I can feel like our friendship is slowly moving to the big love!
It happened so that it’s so tricky to find the right shade of a pink lipstick for me, due to my appearance. All the lipsticks that I tried before used to look too barbie pink on me. For instance, the one from MAC in the color Please Me shade. I wanted harmony. And one day the stars were on my side and my makeup pouch was filled with the Burberry Kisses #37 Pink Peony Lipstick!
Packaging:
The product offers a sophisticated design and a magnet closure. It’s so pleasant to open and close each time. But take into consideration that the magnet in the tube and the magnet on the top must coincide so as to make the closure mechanism work. But I don’t find any issues with it!
The lipstick itself is adorned with the Burberry branded checked design.
By the way, if you store your lipsticks in such containers, beware that this one doesn’t fit in it. This is the only lipstick in my collection that doesn’t fit there.
Smell:
The formula is absolutely fragrance-free. I wish that such a beautiful shade would still be accomplished with some pleasant aroma. It would be so advantageous then!
Shade:
That is the most interesting! Such a pink rose color. So pure and warm. It’s versatile and suits bright as well as evening makeup look, that beautifully adorns my eye makeup. It doesn’t look like a mask on my face. It’s perfection for everyday wearing. Usually, such colors are more flattering to blond girls, but even though I’m chestnut and my eyes are brown, this shade still flatters me a lot.
As for the skin-friendly components, there are some, because they really hydrate my lips! Of course it isn’t the moisture that I can get from a lip balm, but still, I can feel it. By the end of the day, I feel that I don’t have to use a chapstick, which is so common for my lips, even in summer!
Texture and application:
The lipstick has a very gentle texture that applies with a semi-opaque layer. But it isn’t a problem to pack the color for a better kickback. It glides smoothly over my lips! Texture-wise, it reminds me of the Guerlain Kiss Kiss lippie. And to the disadvantages, I want to list the cut of the stick. I now that it’s subjective, but I still prefer it when the cut of the lipstick isn’t so sharp.

Staying power:
With no meal, it can live for 2-3 hours on my lips. It won’t stay through the course of a meal. It fades delicately, though.
I can recommend this Burberry Kisses Lipstick for everybody! I’m sure that you won’t be indifferent to it!
