I’m reviewing the L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Palette and I’ll show you the swatches of all of them and will apply each one on my lips, so keep reading. I’ve been using this palette relatively recently but already I definitely have something to say, so I want to share my impression with you.
Price: $15 (discounted)
The design of the palette is eye-catching. The compact looks expensive and like a real bar of gold. On the back there’s all the information about the palette.
I find the palette comfortable to use. The big mirror, brush enclosed and the variety of shades of red color make it perfect. You can mix the shades together to get this or that color to match your personality. I know that some popular make-up artists do this. The technique is rather simple: just apply one shade on the upper lip and another shade of the same color range on the lower lip. And here you are, the new and individual lip color is ready.
So, in the palette there are 6 red shades. I decided to number them on the swatches as well as on the lips.
The swatches were done in the daylight. In reality they are a tad different.
Texture-wise the products are creamy and buttery. In the sun you can clearly see the glossy finish with rare small shimmer particles to it. They are easy to apply on the lips but still you need to be careful since the colors are bright and any wrong line on the contours will be very much noticeable. The products are all of good quality, I have nothing bad to say here.
The staying power is for a couple of hours, meaning that within these hours the lippies won’t smudge or fade. It will fade after a meal but the pigment will still be there. One more positive about them is that they don’t dry out my lips.
Red shade with a scarlet undertone
It resembles the first shade but it’s more intense and I’d say classy red color
Brown-ish red shade
Burgundy red one
Deep red color
I like this palette and recommend buying it!
