Since my complexion is rather pale, I decided to pick up the 01 Fair shade. But this summer for the first time in my life, I used a fake tanning lotion on my face (I hate sunbathing and will never do it) and I noticed that the powder shade doesn’t look odd on me, even though it looks fair and almost white in the compact.
So this powder is a must for fair-skinned ones.
The top lid of the compact opens up for almost 180 degrees. The mirror inside is very big and convenient.
The design of this powder, as well as all other Charlotte Tilbury’s products, is a masterpiece. Usually the products are made in the golden or rose and golden color ranges. The compact is high quality and it does not only looks like a high-end product, but it also feels like it.
Application: You can apply this powder either with the puff included or use a brush. The powder will blur away your imperfections and even out your skin color. It will also work as a photo-shop, wiping away all the enlarged pores and giving your skin healthy glow. At the same time the product has a matte finish, but it doesn’t define flaking or something.
Coverage: the coverage is light but build-able. You should not expect the full coverage effect from it, it's not even designed to do so. It isn’t a foundation colored powder.
Lasting power: It’s great! In winter, when my skin is tend to dryness, the powder stays on the entire day. In summer the annoying oily sheen may appear only by the evening.
