As many other girls I couldnโt resist and not to give a try to the new primer collection by Clarins ๐ Itโs broadly advertised nowadays and Iโm a little bit upset that I couldnโt find any good swatches of this product online. Even the beauty bloggers werenโt very helpful. ๐ So I decided to test it out myself and among the entire shade collection I opted for the most unusual shade to me.

๐ธ Yes, the product is of lavender shade. Itโs #5.
๐ธ The product says that itโs for sloughing the sallow skin, which is exactly what I want. I didnโt even have a look at the primers with yellow undertones (#02 and #03) and I take them as useless and almost any BB cream has yellow undertones but I needed something unusual to try.
๐ฅ๐ธ The packaging remained the same as of the previous primer collection as we can see the same designed soft tube here.
๐ธ The pump is also the same which is great as it gives the right drop of the product that is enough for my face for one use.

In different lights the shade of the primer on my hand can vary. Sometimes it looks as a cool-toned pink and sometimes changes to a cool-toned beige shade. So, I think itโs better to take a photo of the product with and without a flashlight.
๐ The fragrance is the same as of the previous launch and itโs rather potent, fresh and floral for me. It lingers on my skin and stays there for about a half an hour.
๐ The consistency of the product is very lightweight and easy to apply on my skin. It feels as though the product is melting on my skin.
๐ Itโs possible that the primer is moisturizing but still it can show some big flaking parts.
๐ The primer really counterbalances the yellow shade of my skin and makes it more glowy. My skin looks smooth and beautiful with this primer on.
๐ Pay your attention at how well the product evens out my skin relief. Hereโs the real photoshop effect in action.
๐ Should I mention the appearance of blackheads diminishing? ๐๐ Look at the difference on my skin WITH and WITHOUT the primer. I think the difference is obvious.

I have this primer in the color 01 that is aimed at fighting the signs of fatigue. Packaging The product retails in a branded box. The primer itself is packed into a soft tube of 30ml. I really appreciate the presence of a pump here.
Finally I have time to write a review of the renewed Clarins primer collection. Letโs start, as I think my review will be rather BIG. I bought 2 shades of this primer: Pink (01) and Green (04) and the shade (00) I got as a sachet and tubed gift.
