Outer appearance- I adore Clinique’s product design because of their sophistication, which has some drawbacks, alas. The lipsticks from all three collections (Pop Glaze Sheer Lip Colour and Primer, Pop Lip Colour, Pop Matte) look identical: square casing, metal tube and the second part of the product is made of plastic and colored with the same shade as the product inside. The top cap presents the name of the brand and it’s also given on the sticker at the bottom. The stick itself is placed in the turn-in-and-out mechanism. It looks to be placed well, but over time, it's inclined and now touches the rims inside, each time staining them with the formula. The top cap also lost its trade dress due to the constant living in my handbag with other “residents” like keys/phone/mirror. The metal casing scratches over time and becomes darker.

Shade and texture
For a long time, I couldn’t decide on how to describe this shade right. At first sight, it looks like barbie pink but at the same time, it also has some hint of lilac.
The product doesn’t offer a melting texture, even though its sheer. It applies with a rather thick layer, as though smearing over my lips. The finish is glossy, unscented and looks like a lip gloss of a hard texture.

Application and wear time
The lipstick applies with one stroke and if I layer it, the color payoff presents more intense. The lippie doesn’t budge but it has a sticky finish, so be careful.
The staying power is minimal and I’d advise you to touch-up and have a look in the mirror from time to time. No creasing or lips drying out. I also like that it fades from my lips delicately.

Why exactly this one? Because this shade looks perfect for blue eyes. It advantageously shows the skin color and beautifully makes the lips appear poutier. If you’re sick and tired of dry textures and matte finishes, then I can highly recommend this lipstick.
It also suits nude makeup in the best way possible: just even out your skin tone, make up your lashes with a black mascara, if needed add some cool-toned blushes with the lightest hand and that’s it.

The price of the product might be an issue, I know. But you can buy it during sales. It’ll go a long way and I think that it’s a worthy investment.
