Hello gals!
Today I’m back to review the Make Up For Ever Professional Aqua Liner in the shade #3.
The outer appearance of the product is very beautiful, stylish and posh. The applicator is long and black while the bottom of the tube is the same color as the liner.
The tube is thin and very convenient to hold in hand.
As for the content, here everything’s also good. Consistency-wise the product isn’t too thick or runny. Just ideal for a liquid liner. And here I’d like to say about the first disadvantage I found: the pigmentation isn’t good. (I speak only about my tube and my shade, maybe the pigmentation is stunning in other shades).
Sheer coverage is something out of this world for a product that costs so much. And it costs $23 by the way. Pardon, but I’ll be able to find a way better product for less money. I know that the brand is professional and popular and we have to pay for it. But they also have to release good quality products in return then, don’t they?
The first layer applies with some clumps and looks very sheer. Well thank God the second layer applies better evening out the discoloration. As for the staying power: they say that the product is waterproof. Well, I don’t agree. If you get caught in rain, the liner will still stay on your eyes, that’s true. But if you touch your eye, the product will instantly become smudged. And here’s a pro that the product will not make you looking like a panda.
The product comes off with a film and I usually remove with micellar water. No rubbing my eyes is required.
I liked the applicator and its foam tip.
It may seem to be too thick but that’s not true. The tip is very thin and you’ll easily draw the line of your liking.
One more thing that I noticed while applying this eyeliner is that it makes my eyelashes clumpy, I mean if I accidentally touch my eyelashes with this eyeliner, they’ll immediately become stuck together and clumpy and I’ll have to do something with them before applying mascara.
In a few words these are the pros and cons of the product:
Pros:
wide range of colors
beautiful packaging
doesn’t get smudged while wearing
easy to remove with micellar water
good applicator
isn’t imprinted on my upper lids
Cons:
In a nutshell, I won’t recommend buying this eyeliner, as a cheaper product may perform better.
Thanks for spending these minutes with me. See you!...
