Pros: affordably priced, beautiful shades, i don't detect the coverage, long-wearing, no drying out
Cons: not all the shades are so good

Hello everybody!

Colourpop Lux Lipstick:

One of the lipsticks here is actually from a limited edition collection, which was released in collaboration with the blogger Kathleen Lights. The whole collection was dedicated to the star signs, that’s why the packaging there is blue and stars adorned on it. It’s actually the only difference from the permanent collection.

The tube with the lippie is metal and really of a nice quality. The paint doesn’t flake off from it and the tube is tricky to scratch. The star print is of nice quality and stays on.

All the sticks are cut with stars. So cute. The lipsticks don’t dry out my skin. They are well packed with pigments. Other characteristics depend only on the colors.

The collection offers a lot of shades to choose from. Besides, they constantly feature new shades as well. Today I’ll show you 2 shades - Stone Fox (permanent collection) and What's your sign (limited edition)?

Stone Fox

Gorgeous, gentle pink color, which is finicky, though. It settles into my lip lines and requires color packing. Once my lips are chapped and I apply it over them, the formula shows off all the flaking immediately. I know that I can avoid that by applying a lip liner before.

The same color but applied delicately with patting motions. If you follow this technique, it’s very likely that you avoid all the mishaps which I described above.

What's your sign?

This is a posh hazel color. I’m sure that it’ll open up differently over each of you (so, come on, buy this lippie and white a review of it. Laughing out loud). It’s flawless and doesn’t have all those downsides that the previous shade had. It’s just perfection. Definitely recommended.

With patting motions:

This way, the shade changes a lot. It becomes so peach-like. Now it really reminds me of the MAC Powder Kiss in the shade My Tweedy.

It has a pretty good staying power, given the creamy formula. The products can easily live up to 4 hours on my lips with ease. They can’t stand hot tea and fatty food, though. Besides, the formula isn’t transfer-proof, so be careful.

I can say for sure that you must try out these lipsticks. I presume that all the fair shades won’t perform so good, though. But the collection is also full of different red and brown shades. I can also advise that you have a look at the Tip Toe shade (I’ve used it up already). Thanks for your attention!
