I’m head over heels with different limited products because sometimes I can find real gems among them, which won’t be ever released again, however, they are still sweet music to my ears. :)
So, after the new release from the Colourpop brand, I decided to finally meet the brand and bought this palette.
The collection is called Disney and it’s fantastic! Our favorite princesses are here to bring us the new eyeshadow palette, lipsticks, lip glosses and Super Shock eyeshadow singles. Of course, I was immediately hooked on the palette. :)
The official site retailed it for $20, which is nothing for such a cool designer limited edition palette.
I managed to buy it the next day after the first official release. Currently, there aren’t any palettes left in stock. That’s obvious because usually such palettes are sold out within a few days.
This golden casing makes my heart beat faster.
And you can see that my palette is still covered with the cardboard, just because I’m a huge fan of such stuff. :) This is some kind of a fetish of mine.
Inside the cover, you’ll find the palette of a dope design with my favorite princesses on it.
The palette has a magnet closure, which is why it’s so easy to close and open.
And then… Oh, yummy.
All the delicious shades with Disney names.
Honestly, I opted for this palette mainly due to the shade Magic Carpet. Lately, I’ve become literally blown away with such colors.
Chip: matte soft beige nude
Juju: matte warm rosy pink
Grumpy: matte dusty salmon
Triton: sand with a golden sheen
Abu: matte intense warm brown
Prince Charming: ivory pearl with a green duochrome
Ray: metallic champagne
Fairy Godmother: metallic bright coral
One Kiss?: metallic bright coppery gold
Thingamabob: vibrant metallic silver
Enchanted Rose: rich metallic rose
Poison Apple: metallic pinky violet
Magic Carpet: blackened plum
Beast: deep warm brown topped with gold glitter
Midnight Curfew: black sprinkled with silver glitter
Let’s have a look at them in rows. All the pictures were taken by different lights.
The first row:
All the shades are insanely pigmented. It was a little bit surprising for me because usually matte and fair shades aren’t good when it comes to the color kickback.
The second row:
The third Row:
All the shades are dope pigmentation-wise!
They apply smoothly with brushes as well as with my fingertips. The blending is also surprisingly soft. :)All my makeups with these shades look awesome.

In general my impressions of this palette estimate all 5 stars! However, I still find this palette too warm-toned. I’d add one more row of shades, which would be also connected with princesses. For instance a blue color from Cinderella or Jasmine. The green from Tiana and a blue from Snow White. Or maybe even some lilac shade from Rapunzel.
I didn’t get enough of color and brightness from Disney. I know that Super Shock singles offer such shades separately, yet still, I wish they were included in the palette.
I can highly recommend this product for everybody. Of course, if you manage to find it available. :)Have a pleasant shopping day!
