Hello beautiful ladies!
The American brand ColourPop makes the hearts of thousands of girls all over the world melt and go down each time they came up with a new product. I have already posted a review of the Lippie Stix by this brand and today I’m here with a review of the eyeshadows.
The products are rather simply designed: white plastic packaging with a screw top. On the top cap there’s a logo of the brand which came off a few days after purchase.
Size: 2.1g (0.07 oz)
Made in the USA
As far as I’m aware there are a lot of eyeshadows by ColorPop of different textures and finishes. But these two that I have I’d put into the category of metallics.
Even though they look like usual pressed dry eyeshadows, when I touch them with my finger I can feel their bouncy texture. The texture is something in between dry and creamy. Be careful as if you drop it on the floor it can easily break down. But still, since the texture is very unusual, it’ll be easy to gather the product in a jar again and press it with your finger.
The pigment transfer is very well. I like the color I get when I touch the products with my fingers as well as with brushes. The blendability and application is fantastic. I tried these eyeshadows with and without an eyeshadow primer and the staying power of them was superb in both cases.
I ❤ This is a cool-toned beige color that is shimmer infused and semi-transparent on the eyes. The color looks rather festive but still can be great for a day wear if you don’t apply too much.
There’s no fallout of shimmer while application but some particles may fall out while blending.
So Quiche is a copper bronze color with an abundance of shimmer to it. It’s a great everyday eyeshadow color that I like so much for my smokey eye makeup.
I took all the photos with a soft focus effect on purpose, as only with a soft focus I can show you all the beauty of the sparkling shimmer on my eyes.
Here are the photos of several makeup looks done with the ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadows
Here I applied the I ❤ This on my mobile lid and the outer corners are done with the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 eyeshadows. The eyeliner is by H&M.
Here, on my entire mobile lid I applied So Quiche color and blended with the eyeshadows by theBalm Meet Matt(e) Nude, and a golden eye pencil by NYX on my waterline.
The ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadows are great. The price is low for the quality, I think.
Price: $5
Thanks for reading my post. Have a good shopping day.
