Hello guys!
I keep on telling you about my lip glosses and lipsticks. And today I’m bringing you my review of two more from the ColourPop brand.
This brand is widely known on Instagram among beauty bloggers.
I was longing to test their products for quite a long time (I’m so falling for promos). That’s why I got carried away during the latest Black Friday sale. And you know what, I didn’t actually order these lip glosses. The manufacturer put them himself, as a sorry present just because it took them too long to ship my order.
I have two minis (I wish all my cosmetics was packed with mini packages).
Size - 0.6g. The full size has 3.2g of the product.
The samples are impossible to buy separately, though from time to time they release limited edition sets with different branded products of travel-sizes.
The price of the full-sized lip gloss is $6 (some shades cost $4.8.)
All the full-sized lipsticks come packed with a cardboard box, while my babes arrived like this:
All the lettering is holographic on the tube, which looks dope. However, it doesn’t go a long way and vanishes really soon. By the way, I wasn’t carrying these lipsticks in my handbag, I just opened/closed them when I needed to cover my lips.
Applicator- It’s standard.
The products almost don’t smell of anything. There seems to be a hint of some aroma, but I can’t make it out.
The consistency is pretty thick and I have to dip the applicator about 5 times here and there to cover my lips with a good layer.
Even though the texture of the products seems to be too thick, I still feel fine wearing it. No stickiness or tacky feelings from them. The white film doesn’t appear on my inner lips and in general, the color stays on for 2.5-3 hours. After that, I can feel the balmy sensation on my lips for another couple of hours.
I have two shades of these lip glosses - Weho (beige) and Piranha (tender pink).
Honestly, the shades aren’t mine, though I have only the two.
Piranha
Consistency-wise, it’s a little bit less thick than the beige shade. In all other respects, their characteristics are the same.

You can see that the product accentuates all my lip blemishes. Currently, I can’t find it available on the official site - maybe they stopped producing it or maybe it’s out of stock. But once it appears, you know what it is like.
:)
Weho
This color is thicker formula-wise.
The lettering here disappeared almost completely.

This one also is a good “show off all blemishes of mine” shade, but still, not as much as the pink color.
This shade is available on the official site and you can even find some shots to see it applied on the lips. Even on the site it doesn’t look good indeed. In my book, they applied too much of it and in general, the product doesn’t look it’s best there.
The site gives the following description:
Now, you go in this full coverage creamy beige
By the way. Don’t take the shades of the lip glosses on the official website for granted. In general, the shade might look natural, though still different to what we see in real life.
Here are the products within an hour of wearing:

Overall: if it hadn’t been for that nasty lip texture accentuating, I’d call these lip glosses my Holy Grails. I give them 4 stars and that is only for the beige shade.
Recommend? Well, decide it yourself. As for me, I won’t repurchase.
P.S sorry for my skin condition. I couldn’t do anything about all those blackheads on my lip line.
