Hello, pretties! Wink

I’ve already confessed my accidental love for blue eye makeup when I reviewed this eyeshadow palette.

Not only do I adore accentuating my lower eyelids with bright colors, but I also like pairing them with the same colored mascara.

This is the reason I purchased this Dior Diorshow mascara, which I want to review now.

The design of the mascara is nice, high-end and posh.

It’s made of a good quality black plastic and the top cap is adorned with the branded logo. The base comes with the lettering on. Nothing fades or scratches.

The product comes packed with the branded silver box.

Size - 10 ml.

Country of manufacturing - France.

Right after the purchase, the consistency of the mascara is a little bit dry, as though moussy. At the same time, it doesn’t flake off as usually may happen with a dried out mascara. It’s all due to the consistency that the product is hard to layer and it doesn't always apply well. However, it doesn’t show any clumping or annoying blobs.

I haven’t noticed any volume increase on my lashes but I have seen lengthening and separation. But the result is still rather mediocre, in my book. But again, I bought it to use only for my lower lashes and I’m absolutely delighted with the way it works there.

The mascara offers a natural bristled fluffy big brush. I don’t appreciate silicone brushes, that’s why I liked this one. But it was a torture to reach all those tiny lash roots with such a gigantic brush.

It stays on well until I decide to wash it off.

It’s better to use a bi-phase makeup remover or a cleansing balm/oil.

The manufacturer doesn’t state that the formula is waterproof.

#258 Pro Blue. It’s an alluring and noble blue shade. It isn’t electric, though. But I’d even say that it’s more like a muted blue, yet still, the shade is rather bright and vibrant.

This is how my lashes look like without any mascara on, which I curled with a curler:

Here the Dior Diorshow mascara is applied with 1.5 layers: The result isn’t wow, but on my lower lashes, it looks pretty decent.

My makeup with the ColourPop Mar Eyeshadow Palette:

My makeup with the Nabla Soul Blooming Eyeshadow palette:

My makeup with the Tarte Tarteist Pro To Go:

In general, I liked this Dior Diorshow New Look mascara in this very blue shade. But I won’t recommend it for purchasing since the result is rather average for it. Not everybody would buy a special mascara for lower lashes only, like me.

I’m delighted with the color of the product and actively use it with pleasure, though I won’t repurchase. I’ll keep on looking for a mascara with better characteristics.
