Pros: cute packaging, good shade, pleasant aroma
Cons: it doesn’t live up to the promises, it has a weird flavor, small size

Welcome everybody to my post!

This babe actually made me really puzzled. And up until now I still can’t form my opinion about it.

I have my Moisturizing Lip product in the color Elderberry Pigment from the brand Dr. Lipp. I find the color rather advantageous, which also brings a slightly fruity pleasant aroma.

However, the list of advantages finishes here…

The price for such a pack is about $8 and that’s for 8 ml of the formula. It isn’t a tester or a mini, no. They even claim that it’s a Pocket Size on the official website.

Product information:

Dr. Lipp Moisturising Colour tint is formulated on our award winning, multi-use balm, famous for its long-lasting moisture. Now tinted with 100% natural plant pigments for beautiful, soft, luscious lips.

Ingredients:

This lip tint is rather thick and silicone consistency-wise. This is the very reason why I find it so difficult to distribute over my lips. The coverage always looks a little bit uneven and I have to give it some time for self-smoothing out. Hence the spending is huge. This baby product will never go a long way.

It feels so silicone-like on my lips and this is why my lips feel so sticky and heavy.

I was also repulsed by its flavor. It’s actually far from being fruity. It feels chemical and really lingering.

As I’ve already said, I liked the color. It’s so charming, semi-sheer and vinous. Well, it’s more burgundy-like, if to be more precise. This shade makes my lips appear visually more seductive. It’s perfection for a cold season for me.

And here arises the main question - why do they claim it's a TINT? Visually it looks more like a regular lip gloss.

And it might all go well, if only it tinted my lips when leaving them. But the thing is that they never look stained or tinted. That’s why I can’t get why it’s a tint.

I also have to say that I haven't noticed any positive impact on my lips from this product. It doesn’t moisturize them, nourish or make them softer. My lips just remain in the same condition as before.

So, it’s useless waiting for some wow-effect from this lip tint. It’s just an innocent treat and never more. Even though I have to admit that I fell for the color.

Thank you a million for reading my post!
