Hello there
I want to make a review of E.L.F. Studio Cream Eyeliner.
I can’t call myself a pin-up lover, but there was a moment when I understood that my eyes look bigger and more defined with a winged eyeliner. And I started to look for my ideal brushes, eyeliners (eye pencil didn’t give me the desired effect) etc.
I tried a lot of products: the cheapest ones, by Loreal, Color Tattoo, but those were all wrong as they were too creamy, and I wanted for something more liquid.
So, I picked up the eyeliner by E.L.F. for $3. There are 4.7 ml in the pot and included slanted brush. The packaging is small, plastic and light. It’s very convenient to take with me.
I like its consistency - it’s a tad more watery than Color Tattoo. The product smells of something, but I actually can’t make out of what. This eyeliner is easy to apply, though the color isn’t intense black. It stays on my eyes well, doesn't smudge or imprint on the upper eyelids. But, personally I can smudge it a bit in the inner corners sometimes, but I presume that’s my personal peculiarity, as all the products are smudged in that area on me, even if I preliminary primed it.
The brush has the right cut edge and thin, but inconvenient to hold in the hand, as it’s short.
All in all, I recommend this eyeliner, especially keeping in mind its price. But I won’t repurchase it again, as I want to find more intense black colored product.
I decided to compare two brushes by E.L.F. One was included with the eyeliner (circled with red), and the one wedged I bought some time ago. I can say that I like the included one more, as it gives thinner and more precised lines.
