The first thing I noticed when I unpacked this lipstick was a smell. It reminded me of cheap and old-fashioned lippies from my grandma that I’d been using secretly when I was a kid. It smells of old times… But I thought it would have a berry scent about it
Weight: 3.8 g
I found this lipstick in a limited edition Christmas kit, so the design of the tube differs from the original one a little bit. It’s a simple golden case with a plastic cap with the name of the brand on it.
What they say:
Color so incredible, it leaves your lips wanting more. Maximized impact. Magnified vibrancy, dimension and brilliance.
True Vision™ technology takes ordinary color and makes it extraordinary. You'll love the spectrum of fade-resistant, long-lasting shades, from sublime to vivid.
Enriched with lip-loving ingredients, including apricot kernel, shea butter and murumuru butter that leave lips soft and creamy smooth.
Each shade comes in the lasting, seductive finish that suits it best: satin Creme or lustrous Shimmer.
I have the shade 26 Nectarine.
All lipsticks of this collection have shimmer to it that I do not usually appreciate. But it looks so appropriate and nice here. It ensures such a classy and old-fashioned look.
On the bottom you can see a batch code for checking the expiration date.
The lipstick doesn’t dry out my lips. The texture is nice and not sticky. It’s highly-pigmented and not streaky. It applies to my lips really well even without a lip balm! It doesn’t emphasize my peeling. It glides over my lips easily and washes off with any makeup remover without smearing all over my skin.
I use this lipstick rarely, so it goes really far.
I use it without any lip liner and it doesn’t set into my lip lines. More than that it doesn’t crease or bleed.
Overall, I liked this lipstick but I’m not going to repurchase it. The smell leaves much to be desired, plus the price is hefty.
However, those of you who are obsessed with the retro effect on lips will definitely love it!
