Hello there! Today I want to tell you about the Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide Lipstick in the shade #410.
Currently, this collection comes discounted in a beauty store, so I couldn’t resist and bought it.
The full price is $38.00.
When I got back home with my purchase, I found out that I grabbed exactly that shade which I’d really liked in the trial size from a beauty box before.
The product was housed into a classy branded cardboard black box with the logo and some product info on it.
There are instructions on how to use the product for the first time. At first, I had a thought that my item was either broken or empty. I googled and found out the tube is to be twisted several times before the first use to make the formula come out. So, no panic, just keep on twisting it.
The product was manufactured in France.
The design of the lipstick is fantastic and really making me rave about it!
The casing is made of natural leather of black color. I adore the leather smell and wish I had a perfume with its notes. Maybe you know which one to buy. The casing is adorned with silver and branded logo.
The applicator sponge is soft and pleasant to the touch. However, I don’t find it handy to outline my lips with because the shade is too bright. I just can’t do it evenly. Maybe that’s my skills to blame. But the product can also be used as a lip balm or a tint if you apply it with the lightest strokes.
The color is truly saturated and bright. One twist of the tube ensures enough formula for one use. As for the formula, it’s smooth and pleasant. It does smell of something but not much to give me a headache. I apply it with a brush because I always opt for brushes since I don’t welcome lip liners in my makeup.
I didn’t swatch it, so I want to show you the lippie on my lips right away. The product is easy to apply, it doesn’t appear streaky or anything. It doesn’t bleed or feather while wearing. The finish is satin, really gentle and shine-free.
The lasting power is about 3 hours, given that I can have a cup of coffee during that time. After that the color starts fading from my inner lip but it still stays put on the contours.
I also use it as a matte lipstick. After the application, I blot it with a tissue for a dry finish. If I use a lip balm beforehand, there won’t be any dryness or tacky sensation at all.
The lipstick is really packed with pigments. The color looks so saturated.
The product is gorgeous. I hope I’ll have a chance to buy other shades as well. If I don’t, I’ll save money then. :(
The price is far from being affordable for a lippie for everyday wear. I guess that those 3 ml won’t go a long way, though. But the design and the quality make me rave about it.
I can genuinely recommend it for purchasing! :):)I hope that you found my review informative!
Thanks for your attention!
