Hello beautiful ladies!
Each season every cosmetic brand wants to surprise us with some interesting products. The spring collection by Guerlain was very interesting as they launched their La Petite Robe Noire Lipsticks.
The new lippies have a unique design as they aren’t housed in a metal and golden packaging as usual, but are placed in a beautiful packaging of clear plastic. Thanks to this packaging the product really looks like an ice cube. High-end ice cube indeed.

The stick with the lippie seems to be made of metal and the cap is the same designed as the famous perfume La Petite Robe Noire. The fragrances are absolutely the same by the way. But in a lipstick I feel it only during application and then it fades.
The formula of the product is rather fatty and thick, even though the coverage is thin and sheer. It applies on the lips with a thin layer that is smooth and even. The product doesn’t accentuate flaking which I'm very happy about.
The staying power is decent: 2-4 hours. It fades beautifully and neatly, leaving some pigment on my lips and a good moisturized feeling.
Out of the 20 colors that are in the main collection, I opted for the #007 Black Perfecto as it’s the most unusual one.
Black lipstick with lilac and purple undertones, plus an abundance of shimmer tiny particles. Amazing!
But once you start applying the lippie on your lips all the magic disappears and you can see that the product is really nude-like and wearable.
On the lips, the product gives semi-transparent beautiful coverage with cool undertones and thanks to the shimmer particles there’s a glossy finish. By the way, the shimmer is so nicely grained that I don’t feel it present on my lips.Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lipstick
is nicely scented and flavoured.
It isn’t drying at all, on the contrary, it gives good nourishing moisture. But the experience has proven that these factors are truly subjective.
As I’ve already mentioned, the lippie fades gradually leaving a slight hint of pigment that disappears 2-3 hours after the main color has gone.
All in all, I’m delighted with the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Lipstick. The texture is so fine that I’m completely in love with it. The sweet scent makes it stand out of all my lipsticks. Plus, the packaging is very unusual and unique. Well, the shade isn’t true to the tube but the high-end brands rarely release gothic black lipsticks. If you really want a saturated black lipstick, then you’d better look for it in the professional makeup corners, as black lipstick is something outrageous and very creative.
