Once the Guerlain has released their LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE LIPSTICKS I knew that I would buy it one day and give it a go. At first sight I’ve fallen in love with the #007 Black Perfecto color, which I’m here to make a review of today.

Design
A lot of girls are mad at the outer appearance of the product and they think that the product screams cheap but I like it. The tube looks like a pro-longed ice cube. The plastic is sturdy and is of good quality. The tube closes with a satisfying click.
Formula:
A cocktail of fine oils with the highest refractive index for a shiny lacquered effect and a light-weight texture reveals the lips’ natural radiance, leaving them supple and comfortable.
The formula of the product is really lightweight and gel-like. The lipstick glides on my lips and there are no problems applying it. I appreciate the easy application as I’m always in a hurry.
Performance:
LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE LIPSTICK can compare with a good moisturizing lip balm. It evens out my lips and makes them look good and nourished.
It’s very comfortable during wear!
Staying power:
When you’ll see the swatches of the product, you’ll understand that it can’t last long because of its butter-like consistency. It stays put for about 2 hours but the glossy shine fades in a hour. But I usually wear it for 3-4 hours as there’s a slight tint effect left on my lips.
Fragrance:
A floral fruity fragrance with accents of bergamot, rose and raspberry, inspired by the delicious notes of La Petite Robe Noire, and an exquisite flavour attracts tender notes of passionate kisses. So addictive!
I really love the unusually scented cosmetic products. I can’t call myself a fan of the LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE perfume but I love how the lipsticks smells. By the way, the smell disappears almost immediately after application.
Color:
They’ve never had such a shade in their main collection before. I can remember the hyped Givenchy black lipsticks but Guerlain has never come up with anything like this. The color is gray-ish black. The intensity of the color can be varied. But you’ll never get the same color as in the stick, even if you apply 10 layers. #007 Black Perfecto intensifies my natural lip color, making them a little darker and pouty. The finish is light and glossy. The glitter creates a beautiful pear casting. I don’t feel the glitter present on my lips even after 4 hours of wearing the lipstick.

Overall, I want to say that LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE #007 Black Perfecto is definitely worth your attention and will become a stylish pearl of your dressing table and makeup bag. Great quality, interesting (yet sleek) design which are the definite advantages of the product. I like wearing this lipstick! And I hope that you’ll like it too!
