Hello pretty ladies! Smile

After I’ve tried the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette I fell for the eyeshadows by this brand, so I keep on buying and testing their mini palettes with great pleasure. I can’t say that they’ve been here on the market for a long time but I can say that they have already become hyped and super popular.

So today I’m bringing you my review of one more killer eyeshadow palette by Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette.

It’s made of a thick cardboard material and has a magnet closure. The size isn’t big and very compact- 7 х 7,5cm. Inside the palette there is a mirror and 9 eyeshadow colors.

Weight - 10g. The palette was made in China.

Unlike the Smokey palette this one has a bigger color array and it offers more textures and finishes. Out of 9 colors, you’ll find 1 shimmer shade and 8 matte shades.

All the eyeshadows are tightly pressed. They are very soft to the touch but they can be a little bit dusty though. The shimmer shade feels as though buttery to the touch if I press it tight with my finger. It applies nice and even to the skin and really shows an opaque coverage.

The products are fairly pigmented and there are only some colors which I can be a little bit picky about but I’ll speak about them later.

I always wear my eye shadows over a primer or use creamy eyeshadows as a base. Hence there are no problems with the wear time for me at all.

Why not to have a closer look at the colors now?

Unfortunately there aren’t any names to the shades, so I guess I’ll speak about them in a row one by one.

The upper row:

The plum-vinous shade. This is the first shade that I’ve got something negative to say about. It works fine as a blending product and doesn’t look patchy but it isn’t very pigmented. You won’t ever get a flash of color with this shade on your eyes, so you’ll always have to dab it a lot or apply over some sticky base color.

It’s a beautiful matte orange shade which I truly love and most frequently use for the crease or while blending.

Red-orange matte. This the badly pigmented hue #2. The same story as with the first shade. Use a sticky base or pat it a lot. I also want to warn you that you’ll have to be very careful with it while blending as it may look patchy and leave stains.

The middle row:

It’s a cool-toned brown matte shade. It crumbles during application but in all other respects, I deem it’s absolutely fuss-free.

It’s an orange golden shimmer color. Very bright and beautiful! It looks best of all if applied with a fingertip or with a wet brush.

Light beige matte color. It’s basic and versatile. I can always find a use for it. I like this shade more than the beige shade from the Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette.

Lower row:

Warm-toned coral matte shade. It’s very unhackneyed and beautiful. It works wonders as a blending shade and looks fab if used as an accent color all over the mobile lid.

Sandy-beige matte hue. One more versatile shade which is so easy to create a 2-minute nude eye makeup with.

Rusty-brick-orange matte shade. I also want to call it a versatile shade but “a versatile red shade” to be more precise.

All the colors together. I swatched all the shades with my finger against non-primed skin.

And finally some makeups with the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette.

Not boring nude 2-minute makeup where I used only two shades.

One more very quick makeup look for me - a very interesting red blending of the eyeliner with a darkened of the lower lashline.

And here are some more complicated and sophisticated looks.

I guess I used almost every shade from the palette to create this makeup look. The golden shimmer shade was applied to the center of my upper lid. Then I applied the Lime Crime Diamond Crushers in the shade Choke to the inner corners and to the one third of the lower lid.

Red-coral smokey eyes

The same makeup but with an accent shade by the ColourPop Supernova Shadow in the color Prelude.

Classy brown makeup.

And here the pigment by Vipera Cosmetics works as an accent shade.

As you might have already guessed, I liked the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette. Interesting shades (and I don’t even care that they are red and orange again), nice quality, even though some shades leave much to be desired. But I’m more than delighted with the color array and combinations. It seems to me that this palette is more thought-out than the previous Smokey Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette. Here you can find a light matte shade to layer over the primer, as well as crease shades and dark-browns to deepen the color.

If you still haven’t tried the Huda Beauty eyeshadow palettes, then it’s just the right time now. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Price - $27.

Thanks for reading my review! Stay always beautiful and have a pleasant shopping day! Wink
