Hello dear ladies!
It’s summer now and summer is the time for bright colors, juicy fruit, shine, gloss and of course cocktails!
Be sure that Lancome won’t leave you without a cocktail, so meet their Juicy Shaker
The box the Shaker was in is silver, minimally-designed and has the name of the product on it. There’s also a bar-code and list of ingredients.
DIISOSTEARYL MALATE,HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE,PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAISOSTEARATE,TRIDECYL TRIMELLITATE,C18-36 ACID TRIGLYCERIDE,OCTYLDODECYL NEOPENTANOATE,DIMETHICONE,ALCOHOL,MICA,PEG-10 DIMETHICONE,POLYPROPYLSILSESQUIOXANE,ROSA CANINA FRUIT OIL,PRUNUS PERSICA KERNEL OIL / PEACH KERNEL OIL,VACCINIUM MACROCARPON (CRANBERRY) SEED OIL,ISODODECANE,SODIUM SACCHARIN,ALUMINA,PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS OIL / SWEET ALMOND OIL,PROPYLENE CARBONATE,PROPYLENE GLYCOL,CITRIC ACID,DISTEARDIMONIUM HECTORITE,PROPYL GALLATE,PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE,CI 15850 / RED 7,CI 15985 / YELLOW 6 LAKE,CI 45410 / RED 28 LAKE,BENZYL ALCOHOL,PARFUM / FRAGRANCE
The packaging of the product reminds me of the mini-shaker the cocktails are usually made in. When you screw the top, inside you’ll see the fat triangle-shaped applicator which looks like a pencil.
Inside the shaker there’s a split formula product, consisting of bright pigment and scented oil. Yep the oil is scented and each shaker in the collection has its own color and scent. Mine is Berry in Love.
Shake it up before use!

The main distinguishing feature of this product and a lipgloss is that this product leaves pigment behind! Consistency-wise, it’s very pleasant, oily and gives such a trendy dewy finish which shines in the sun. But it shines during the first 40 minutes after application and then, the most interesting process begins: after 40 minutes wear or a meal your lips will look totally matte, but tinted. And this tint won’t leave you till the very evening! Or you can reapply the product and enjoy the glossy shine for 40 mins more and a brighter pigment in the end.
Right after application:
An hour later when the gloss faded:
I reapplied the product, but not as evenly as desired, alas. But the color looks more intense:
An hour later after my touch-up. I have my lips covered with an intense and bright pigment:
As you can see, I’m absolutely raving about this product! But it wasn’t love at first sight. When I was applying it for the first time, I pressed the applicator too much and ended up with half of my face covered with the lip product. The next time I tried to be more careful and fell in love with it immediately. It’s a great Shaker for summertime in cute packaging, but it’s pricey! The product is non-standard, it’s not what we all got used to, so think twice before buying it!
