Last spring Lancôme decided to cheer their fans up with a new and unusual lip product - Juicy Shaker. And in my opinion it turned out great!
The most important aspect that distinguished lip glosses from Juicy Shaker is the packaging. It looks like a mini version of a real cocktail shaker. The so-called small toy for big girls. It’s so compact-sized that will easily fit into any make-up bag
Juicy shaker is oily to the touch and glides easily on my lips. It’s rather logical as the main components of this product are oil and pigment, which mix into a constant consistency while shaking and here you are - the lipgloss is ready.
It doesn’t flow out of my lip contour and gives my lips a nourishing and moist feeling for a few hours.
One more distinguishing feature of this product is that the product has a cushion-sponge. It’s very unusual but convenient.
The applicator-sponge is triangle shaped and I find it difficult to contour my lips with, but since the product is transparent, I don’t actually need it. Just apply the product on your lips, dab it a little and that’s all!
#400 Mint to be is undoubtedly the most intriguing color in the entire collection of Juicy Shakers! It’s a classical blue color with blue undertone and a great amount of silver shimmer to it.
Don’t be so scared that your lips will look blue. They won’t. The product is glossy and transparent.
But if you layer it and apply much thicker, then you’ll see this blue color on your lips but still it won’t look as bright as in the packaging.
When I apply this product I can clearly feel a slight tingling feeling but it doesn’t make my lips look plumper. It smells like a toothpaste but sweet to the taste.
Longevity ~ 1.5-3 hours. Within this time, the oil absorbs and the shimmer disappears somewhere.
Lancome Juicy Shaker is a thing to treat yourself. The packaging is cute, the color is unusual, as well as the technique of mixing the pigment and oil together.
I was pretty happy to notice the nourishing properties of this product but I’d like it to be more long-lasting and more pigmented, maybe. But in general, I use the Juicy Shaker a lot and with great pleasure. I can really recommend it for purchasing, the most important is to know about all the peculiarities before buying.
