Today I’m bringing you my thoughts on my favorite Lime Crime High-Lite Opals palette.
I’ve purchased this beauty from their official website for $38.
When the palette arrived, it was a miracle. The palette was so beautiful and iridescent in the sun. The design is very trendy, as holographic material is very popular at the moment. The packaging is made of cardboard. Inside you won’t find any mirror.

The palette consists of 3 shades: pink, gold and peach. The texture is very nice and soft. It applies and blends out very easily.
You may vary the payoff of these highlighters. You can apply a thin coat and it would look very nice for a daily makeup. A thicker and brighter coat can be an awesome addition to your evening look.

I won’t call the first shade pink, because it’s more lilac. I love this hue, it’s extraordinary and looks gorgeous as a highlighter.
The second shade is gold and I use it rarely as a highlighter. I prefer applying it as an eyeshadow.
It is an orange shade, which is exactly what I need. The color looks amazing against both fair and tan skin. Moreover, it’s suitable for any occasion!

As I’ve already mentioned, the highlighters apply very soft and feel very natural on my skin, as they don’t have any big shimmering particles. They look even somewhat fluorescent on my skin by certain lighting. The staying power is great. The product lasts till I decide to remove it. I love applying it both to a liquid highlighter and foundation.
A colorful highlighter will be all the rage next year! As for me, I’m obsessed about this idea and the product. What do you think? Would you try it?
