Before purchasing something I always ask myself if I really need this product. When I saw the Lime Crime Velve-Tin Boxed Set, I added it to my cart right away. You probably wonder why, but just look at the packaging and look for yourself
The tin box is so pretty. Inside you can find plastic foam, but you can throw it away and use the box like an ordinary jewelry or money-box. The set consists of 3 mini-lipsticks, each containing 2 ml of the product. The full-size tube has 2.6 ml, so our product is not such a mini-version? :)The tubes are half the size of the full version, but the applicators are the same.
Well, let’s move onto the swatches:
The shade is nude pink and looks much softer in reality. However, the shade looks different against every girl.
2. Pink Champagne
The shade is metallic pink. This is the first time I’ve tried the metallic lipstick and honestly, I thought that it would always be on the shelf. When I actually applied it to my lips, I was blown away. I didn’t know it would be so long-lasting and different from a typical lip gloss. The shade looks divine and not at all flashy.3. Elle
It’s an apricot shade, which is quite controversial, as I don’t know many girls who love lippies with an orange undertone. As for me, it’s totally up my alley.
All the shades are highly pigmented. They apply perfectly even in a thin coat.
The staying power is the same with all the Lime Crime lipsticks. It lasts well, provided you don’t eat and drink anything except water. So, be ready to refuse coffee. However, you can touch it up any time.
I definitely recommend you try this set! Even if you won’t be using it, you can put it on a shelf as a decoration. Why not? Moreover, it’s a great keepsake for your friends or your mother.
P.S. Guys, have you ever tried the Lime Crime lipsticks? Love it? Repurchase?
As far as I’m concerned, I’d like to try the widely-hyped DIAMOND CRUSHERS.
So, feel free to share your opinion about it.
