Today I’m here to make a review of the Lime Crime Velvetines Liquid Metallic Lipstick in the color LANA.
The Lime Crime products are designed by Doe Deere who is a very famous and popular makeup artist all over the globe.
The color range of the products is so wide that I have a great desire to try and buy all of them. They are so beautiful and blingy! What’s more, the quality and outer design of each product are just awesome!
So, today I’m doing a review of the product by Lime Crime that was in a CHAMPAGNE Velve-Tin set. And this is a liquid lipstick in the color LANA.
I have a mini of it, so it’s only 2.07g all in all.
Long lasting metallic liquid lipstick in a burnished bronze hue.
Makes your lips feel luxurious and velvety, like a rose. Lasts all day with minimal touch-ups, even through meals.
Packaging it’s standard for any liquid lipstick. Matte frosted plastic tube with a top cap that is color coordinated to the lipstick shade.
At the bottom they put a sticker with the name of the lipstick.
The applicator is doe-foot and furry. I find it convenient to work with.
The lipstick was initially packed in a beautiful metallic box which I unfortunately have lost somewhere.
Texture of the product: it’s liquid, lightweight and is almost undetectable on the lips.
Use and result: the product is easy to apply evenly. The application is totally opaque and patch-free. It dries down rather quickly and is great to layer.
The coverage is thin yet opaque. I almost don’t feel this lippie present on my lips.
The product doesn’t accentuate flaking and never accumulates in the crevices.
The color of the lippie is bright, bold and has a matte velvet finish.
It’s long-wearing and stays put for 4/5 hours without meals. If I have a snack (tea, coffee, roll), the product will disappear from the inside of my mouth but if I have a proper meal, the lippie will stay only on the contour.
It doesn’t stain clothes and removes easily with any oil.
Overall:
The lipstick’s quality is just fine and I do really want to try out all the colors in this collection!
