This is my first experience with LC lipsticks. Even though Velvetines are considered to be cult, I was attracted by Plushies. I chose this carrot color. I just wanted something unusual and lightweight for the summer.
I chose rightly. The formula is really lightweight, and I don’t feel the lipstick on my lips. There is no feeling of dryness, especially if you prep your lips by scrubbing and moisturizing them.
One coat gives sheer coverage, which I prefer. Two coats give this very bright carrot color. The feeling is fine, regardless of the number of coats, because even in two layers, the lipstick is thin. The intensity of colors is the only thing that changes.
It’s not a versatile color for me, it’s a summer color. I’ve been doing my makeup in pink lately, so it’s a very nice combination.
