Exceptional blushes: The craze for products in sticks takes over for a reason. They really are convenient to use.
Well, there is a lot of the product in this stick. It comes with 7g of the blush. I’ve been using it for a few months now but I never had to twist it up yet, so it goes a really long way.
Shelf life: 24 months after unpacking.
A small dot blends out in a slight matte pink. As a result the makeup looks very natural.
The blush itself is very intense, so you can get a vibrant payoff easily if required.
It blends out with my fingers and with a brush very well. However, it’s better to do with the fingers.
The maker claims that the wear time is 24 hours. But it depends on the skin type and on the foundation you apply it to. The product lasts about 7 hours on a foundation with a satin finish.
It definitely wears longer with a matte foundation. It lasts all day without any touch-ups.
When compared to dry formulas, it may emphasize the skin texture and settle into big pores when blending. So this product is not suitable for problematic skin.
For me, the Loreal Blush Stick is an awesome option for trips. It twists up and back down and obviously won’t crumble in a bag.
Moreover, I don’t have to take a brush for applying with me, which is very useful.
Nevertheless it won’t make your skin look airbrushed when compared to the dry blushes. It’s a nice option for daily makeups, but it’s not at all suitable for an evening look.
