I don’t know why but I somehow live with the concept that the lipsticks from MAC are the best ones in the market ever. Well, let’s check out if the collection of liquid matte lip colours is really the best among matte options.
Packaging: classy branded bullet tube with a see-through bottom part. The applicator is felt tipped. It’s small and triangle there.
Quantity of the products: 5 ml (this is a lot, guys)

Shades names (numbers): café au chic, simply smoked, topped with brandy, so me.
Smell: sweet
Texture: liquid and matte
Application: when I apply the product, it doesn’t set at once. It’s very good because the formula lets me some time to distribute it smoothly. The coverage is pigmented and patch-free (I accentuate it because I know that not all the lipsticks from this collection perform so well).
The applicator isn’t difficult to work with.
How to apply: Any lipstick will dry out your lips but it isn’t actually a problem for me. If you still feel very uncomfortable wearing them, then I can recommend you use the MAC Prep+Prime Lip.
Staying power: the formula is long-wearing, though not as much as the Smashbox Always on Liquid Lipsticks, for instance.

The Topped with Brandy is warmer than the So Me.
Impressions of use: Have you seen similar shades but from other brands? As for me, I haven’t. But it isn’t the main thing why I love them so much. Their size and coverage make me feel free to use these lipsticks for a very long time. Sometimes it feels like they’ll never be used up. I use the shade Café Au Chic almost every day because I’m not the one who adores lip glosses or creamy lipsticks which say you goodbye to within a couple of hours. If I do wear a lipstick, I want to wear it long and not to touch-up every 5-10 minutes.

Overall: These are good quality lippies which stay on for a good while. They fade away delicately, never fall out with patches. The texture is fuss-free, which is such a common occasion for drugstore products. If you’re looking for something like this, then I can highly recommend you buy something from this very collection!
