Hello lovelies!
Today I’m here to review one of my faves by the Make Up For Ever brand!
So meet please the HD Pressed Powder which is talc-free:
Shade:
Even though the product looks white in the packaging, it doesn’t leave any white cast on my skin and it is absolutely seamless. It’s translucent. I like translucent powders more than any others which have pigment to them. The translucent powder is so versatile and will suit everybody.
Texture:
It’s silky, finely grained and very smooth to the touch. It applies with the thinnest layer onto the skin (to swatch it I had to apply a huge amount and really rub it onto my skin). It makes my skin super velvety to the touch.
Use and who will it suit:
Most of all I use it to set my makeup as well as visually even out the skin tone. The mattifying properties are good and my skin stays sheen-free for a long time, but still I have to touch up and reapply it from time to time. The powder doesn’t dry out my skin, and it never looks pasty-like on the face.
What to apply it with:
The fluffy natural bristle brush is the best option for me. It applies the product with the thinnest layer ever!
But I don’t like carrying brushes with me, as it’s non-hygienic and since there’s no applicator or puff included, I bought an applicator at the local supermarket.
And I can say the following: the applicator I bought applies the powder with a thicker layer than the brush, so be careful not to overdo.
Ingredients:
Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica, Dimethicone, Zinc Stearate, Phenyl Trimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Isoceteth-10, Caprylyl Glycol, Nylon-12, Aqua (Water), Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate.
