Today I’m sharing my thoughts on a firm fixture of my summer makeup bag which is a good ally for my oily skin when it’s boiling hot outside.
I bought it absolutely by chance, it hasn’t been on my wishlist for ages. But one day it just magically turned out to be in my makeup bag.
The powder is housed in a black plastic packaging. It closes easily and I never break my nails opening it.
When we open the product, we can see white powder inside. It’s so densely pressed that it becomes difficult to make out its texture. It looks like white stain in the packaging. This is how it initially looked like.
The top lid has a big and very good quality mirror inside. There wasn’t any puff or brush provided so I had to use the one from my other powder. It’s made of foam and fits well size-wise.
When I tried to swatch it, I was rather surprised by the consistency of the product.
One touch of the product with my finger and then translated onto my hand.
In the shot you can see that it has a slightly chalky consistency. But it isn’t actually true. Will you agree that we never apply so much of the powder to our faces? And the most interesting thing is that when you apply a little and blend thoroughly, your skin becomes very smooth and silky to the touch.
I apply the product on my face with the mentioned above applicator, which I’m pretty happy with.
The longevity of the powder is good as well as the mattifying effect it gives. My skin is oily but I noticed that if I wear this product I use blotting papers less often.
My verdict is 5 stars
