Hey beauties! I’ve bought this highlighter by accident. Actually, it was the beauty consultant who talked me into buying it. I just stood at the Make Up for Ever shelf, and she asked whether I’d tried their highlighters or not. After I said no, she showed me one and that's it.
Now to the product itself.
What it is:A lightweight luminizer for easy, mistake-proof highlighting. What it does:The beloved highlighter from Pro Sculpting Duo is now available on its own. This innovative luminizer naturally enhances and highlights your very best features. The secret is the unique silky-smooth and soft-shimmer gel-powder that instantly transforms the contours of your face to reveal a soft, highlighted look. With an undetectable texture, subtle sheen, and ultimate blendability, you can instantly and effortlessly give the face a reshaped appearance. Use it many different ways—to highlight or simply give skin a subtle, radiant-looking glow. This new talc-free formula is available in a choice of two shimmering shades: Golden Pink for light-to-medium skin tones and Gold for medium-to-dark skin tones. What else you need to know:This product is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner.
You know I think they’ve underestimated their product. Usually, it’s thousands of sweet words and zero outcome. But not this time.
The design is quite simple and laconic. It’s a glossy powder box in black-and-white. I love such designs. The package is made of plastic and seems a bit fragile, they must have spared every expense on it, but the product itself is worth every penny!
Okay, let me rephrase it. I prefer a worthy product in a cheap package over a high-end box with a low-quality content.
The powder box closes with a click, without hurting my nails, plus there is a good mirror.
There are no brushes, and I’m thankful for it, because the brushes which come in such kits are usually totally useless.
The highlighter is gorgeous, wonderful and magnificent. I’m so delighted with it!
It’s available in two shades Golden pink and Gold (the latter is for swarthy girls). I chose the first one, because my skin is pale regardless of season. I wanted to grab both, though.
The formula is silky and creamy, and extremely pleasant to the touch. It’s talc-free, which is a big advantage in my opinion. The pigmentation is just off the charts. It gives an intense radiant glow from the very first touch. The pink undertone is visible too. The intensity of the glow might be adjusted from sheer to a saturated glow. Plus, the highlighter may be applied both with fingers and with brushes, and the result will be gorgeous anyway!
It doesn’t make any imperfections stand out. On the contrary, it provides a healthy glow.
It’s absolutely odorless. Since it’s tightly pressed, the highlighter is used sparingly.
Lasting power: the highlighter stays put all day long.
Weight: 9 g.
Price: about $39. And it’s totally worth it!
Conclusion: I love this highlighter, and I reach for it every single day. For me, it’s perfect by any standard.Ingredients:
A little bonus: the comparison with Dior Skin Nude Air Luminizer and Mary Lou Manizer (I uploaded this photo because I was afraid to buy a dupe, but, luckily, this product is absolutely different)
