I want to present you my review of Make Up For Ever, Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation. It’s a very popular product, they even compare it with MAC Face & Body. Let’s find out, are they really alike?
As you can see in the photo I have a mini-sized package of this foundation which I found in one of the beauty boxes. Its size is 5 ml, but for me that’s enough to make up my mind about it.
Texture-wise the product is quite liquid like fluid, but still it's thicker than the Water Blend by the same brand.
The product is easy to apply, but not with fingertips, as the coverage then may look to cakey and not blend out. I also didn’t like to apply it with my foundation brush, as the coverage looked too thick. So, the wet sponge is the optimal option. Mine is by Real Techniques. If you apply it with this sponge, you’ll get beautiful and even coverage with no mask wearing effect.
The coverage is close to medium and it won’t suit the skin with some severe blemishes. But the product is buildable.
Finish: it’s satin with a light glow. My skin is of combination type, so I have to use a powder to set. If powdered, the coverage holds up to 5-7 hours and then fades gradually, especially if you don’t touch your face with your fingers. It’s high time to get rid of this awful habit, isn’t it? The oily shine in my T-zone appears only after 3 hours or so and blotting paper is enough to get rid of it.
The product doesn’t oxidize or get darker during the day. It doesn’t clog pores or define flaking. Maybe only a bit, but any foundation does it.

As you can see, it’s a tad yellow and dark for me. But still, it adjusts well and on my face it doesn’t look yellow and covers all my imperfections.

In general I like this foundation. I take off one star for not very good staying power and difficulties with application and blending (girls who don’t have a sponge will face a serious problem). I won’t buy the full sized product of this Make Up For Ever, Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation.
