Well, the Loreal highlighter I had before was really helpful for me. I loved it, but wanted to try something new after it ran low. I didn’t choose it too long, because I already had a few products in mind that I longed to try. These were the NYX Highlighter Palette and this one from Makeup Revolution. Once I saw there was a sale for Makeup Revolution, I decided to give it a go.
Plus, they were adding a beautiful Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palette to every purchase, so I couldn’t help it 
So, I ordered it and here we go, now I have the bright Makeup Revolution Soph X Highlighter Palette in my hands

Packaging: In my opinion, it’s one of the most beautiful highlighter packagings
The palette is housed in a quality paper box with a clear window in the middle. It’s gentle beige with overflowing bronze writing.
On the outer box you can find the ingredients:
Upon opening, we can see the palette itself.
The plastic material is beige and creamy with the same bronze letters.
On the transparent cap we can see the bright ‘Soph X’ that will definitely come off over time, but it looks pretty now.
On the back there is a sticker with the product description. The plastic is nice to the touch, matte and slip-free. The clasp is quite tough, so be careful with your nails
Smell: The highlighters smell a little bit chemically. However, it’s only noticeable if you sniff at it closely.
Generally you don’t feel any smell, especially while using
Shades: The palette has 8 shades, 3 of which are pressed and 5 baked.
There are both shimmering and delicately glowing shades. Also, the palette has 4 hues for skin with a cold and 4 with a warm undertone.
Texture: The highlighters are very nice to the touch. They are soft and silky smooth. The product picks up with a brush with ease.
Application: The product applies to my skin with a brush, sponge or with my fingers amazingly well.
Since it has a very gentle texture, you can blend it out easily and have a subtle and absolutely natural-looking glow.
It’s not dusty or streaky when applying.
Effect: Since the palette has 8 different shades for cold and warm skin types that ensure various glowing effects, I find it really multifunctional and suitable for creating any look: daily, romantic, evening or bold.
It helps visually correct facial contours, accentuate cheekbones and make the eyes look more expressive.
It works really well for my lips making it look fuller.
Wear time: It lasts really well all day.
You can wash it off with any makeup remover fuss-free.
Overall: This palette has become one of my favorites in makeup. It allows me to bring the most creative makeup ideas to life.
