Hello everybody,
The Makeup Revolution brand expanded their power collection and added a new Luxury Baking Powder. I’ve already written a review of their Banana powder before. Now they present us with the new versatile and nude-colored baking powder which will also flatter fair skinned gals. Even if you’re far away from using the baking makeup technique, I’m still sure that you can use it as a regular setting powder.
Let’s have a closer look at it and find out why it stands out among the first two from the powder collection.
This Lace powder is housed in a jar of 35g.
This is very thought out, because when baking your makeup, you are supposed to use a lot of powder and set it with a damp sponge. However, if you use this product exceptionally as a setting powder, then it’ll last a lifetime, I think.
On the front side you can find the product’s name, as well as the shade name and the volume.
The package closes with a small cap, which closes very tightly, preserving the contents from the accident spillage.
There’s a special sieve which also helps the product stay in good quality. By the way, I want to draw your attention to the fact that the sticker was glued better on this powder rather than in the Banana version.
I find this package extremely convenient to use. How do you find it? If you want, you can always use it from a regular powder package for domestic use, for instance.
The powder has a very nice grain which also has the tiniest shimmer bits to it. Texture-wise, this powder is absolutely the same as the previous Banana version. You can build up the coverage, yet still, the powder is impossible to overdo, even if you use a sponge for its application.
There’s a thing which I really adore all the Make Up Revolution Powders for and this is the light diffusing effect which visually and beautifully evens out my skin relief.
The powder doesn’t have any perfume agents in the formula, hence it won’t provoke any allergic reactions or irritation. How to use it? Well, as with all the other powders by the brand, this one also has a very wide field of use.
you can use it for its direct purpose as a baking powder
you can also set your under eye concealer with it
you can use it while contouring your face features
it’ll also work great if used as a makeup setting powder. Or even as a regular face powder
Why is it different from the other powders by the brand? Well, here, there isn’t such a great difference between them, you know. Maybe only in the color. In all the other respects like effect, texture, wear time and other characteristics, this powder is the same as the other products in the powder collection of the brand.
You can also mix the powders, if you have them, to get the perfect match for your complexion.
This powder by MUR is absolutely fantastic. This is why I highly recommend you have a look at it.
And of course my look where I used this powder for making my face features pop:
