Okay, let’s begin with the star rating - I would have really given her 5 stars, but I can’t. It’s really cool, but I’ll try to be objective. The most important thing in an eye shadow palette is what’s inside of it. 32 shades is like an embarrassment of riches, they make you look for something special, something new and unknown.

The palette makes you fall for it with a variety of textures: matte, satin, shimmer, glittery etc. There are more warm colors than cold colors. As a woman with a yellowish face undertone and brown eyes, I’m totally okay with the colors.

About the appearance: the palette comes in a glossy box with lettering in rose gold which matches the carton box. The black glossy surface can easily get dirty, but it’s the scourge of many eyeshadow palettes.

The packaging is pretty heavy and looks impressive. It doesn’t look like a palette for a little girl but there is something cheap about the design.

The eyeshadows themselves don’t look cheap, though. They are really beautiful, noble colors (a shame that there are no violet shades).

At first, when choosing a palette, I wanted simple brown colors, complemented by unusual ones. I try to avoid grey, blue, and violet, as these are not my colors and I use them only in exceptional cases.

In this palette I’ve found everything I desired! It’s just a splendor of colors and delicacy!

It’s hard to call it flawless, though, as there are no brushes or applicators included in the kit. I had a separate kit and could test it immediately. It’s okay to use synthetic brushes, but I’d recommend to have a few made of natural materials. Synthetic ones provide a good color payoff (when they are tightly stuffed) but it’s hard to blend the eyeshadows with them and get precise lines. It’s my personal opinion, I haven’t used natural brushes with this palette yet.

There is a big mirror, enough to see the whole face. Its quality is pretty good, it doesn’t distort the picture.I added a few close-up photos of how the eyeshadows look in the refills and on the skin. Let’s look at them.

I’ll divide the shades in vertical rows.

All colors are matte. The first one is a bit dusty, the others have a great color payoff. Numbers 1 and 3 contain glitter particles, 2 is satin, 4 is matte (like those in the first row) All of them have this little wet shimmer. Sparkly colors, resemble iridescent mother of pearl. Wet shining and lavender satin (which turns into red brown when applied onto the skin) This lovely row makes you fall for it because of its emerald gleam. It resembles fish scales. It’s an austere quartet. The shimmer trio is complemented by a matte coffee (I’m now covered with all shades from the palette and they seem to be matte, so I can be mistaken) The last four charm with their depth. The black holes are so beautiful in the refills. These are 3 black matte shades. Blue glitters, silver glitters and a deep pure matte shade.

My opinion: the abundance of shimmer textures spoils the impression, all of them are beautiful but if you combine them together they’ll just merge.

The colors in the first row (horizontal) fail in many respects. There are so many shimmer particles that they seem to loose the colors themselves. The outsiders among the dark shades are different shades of black.

One with a satin finish, one with a glitter finish. Seven pure matte shades. All the others have shimmer. They’ll suit those for whom every day is a holiday. Smile

Green and red shades are my favorites, they are unusual and deep. Everyday matte textures are okay. I have to note that golden colors are gorgeous!

All the shades (except the first one) are highly pigmented and I’m sure I’ll find a use for them as I always like to experiment. If you are not interested in so many colors, you can always find other suitable palettes by Makeup Revolution. The quality of the eyeshadows themselves is pretty good, they are very pleasant to use.Weight: 16 g.

Price: $14

If you are looking forward to trying out new stuff and are not afraid of shimmer, this palette is for you! Thanks for reading my review!
